Michael Keefer is Professor of English at the University of Guelph. A recipient of the Renaissance Society of America’s William Nelson Prize, he has served as President of the Association of Canadian College and University Teachers of English, and as Chair of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada’s Research Grants Adjudication Committee in Literature.
Matthew Witt is Associate Professor of Public Administration at the University of LaVerne. He has published on matters of public administration theory, civic participation, and the persistent role race plays prefiguring American public administrative praxis. His published work appears in Public Administration Review, Administrative Theory & Praxis, Administration & Society, Public Integrity, and other scholarly venues.
